Polished Concrete Bench Top
This custom bench top was requested by the client for a new kitchen renovation.
The concrete piece combines a standard “cool grey” colour with a lightly ground, “salt and pepper finish”. The piece has been ground smooth, sealed with a durable 2 part water borne aliphatic penetrating sealer and buffed to a shine to ensure maximum scratch and stain resistance. “Blockouts” were included in the casting process to accommodate the clients choice of sink and tap ware which were fitted upon installation. A later addition included a matching piece of concrete for a new windowsill. We had a lot of fun working on this project and the client was amazed with the result and was way above her expectations.
